Castello Brolio Colledilà Chianto Classico DOCG | 100% Sangiovese (their very own clone: the Brolio Sangiovese clone) and entirely single vineyard –a cru Chianti Classico but a ripe and rounded example of great extraction –of bright black fruit countered by currant paste, warm raw vanilla bean and brown spices kept in check by black tea tannins and a deep dark core of character the whole way down lifting up at the end with root spices.

Tre Bicchieri | GAMBERO ROSSO
The Gambero Rosso Italian Wine Guide 2014 has awarded the prestigious Tre Bicchieri ( Three Red Glasses ) to COLLEDILA 2010, Chianti Classico Docg. After the ceremony awards, it will be possible to taste the wine at Città del Gusto in Rome on Saturday October 19th; then at Ritz Carlton Hotel in Tokyo on October 31st and on November 19th in Moscow.
Food Pairings
Seriously anything tomatoey sings with Sangiovese, pizza and pasta to be sure. Sausages, chicken, gazpacho. Bread salad.
