Ringbolt Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

Margaret River is cooler and yields more gorgeous, balanced wine –in this case with a currant leaf element that balances the cassis fruit with a eucalypt menthol mint sort of green edge that makes wets the corners of the mouth. Ripened tannins are sure but well knit and with the juicy black currant acidity makes for an appetizing wine with a finish of cassis and black pepper.

Food Pairings

Meat, meat, meat but especially lamb and beef. Game birds, duck, goose, squab. Anything with lots of rosemary.
