Riondo Amarone 2005
So, who would have thougt that you could find ripe, rich and raisny Amarone at these prices? Not me, until now. It smells (dried fruit) and tastes (prunes in the best way, roundness, concentration) like Amarone. This would be a great way for someone to test the waters…see if they are in the Amarone camp.

Expert Review
90 Points - "A plump and generous Amarone that will appeal to those who like big, bold wines. In the mouth, it is accented by sweet berry flavors; there are pretty nuances of spice, cola, mesquite wood and cedar."
