Blu Prosecco

Tear a fresh apricot in half while it is firm and fragrant and you have an idea of this wine’s aroma and flavor –even texture! From hillside vineyards, this has a pleasant, crisp, refreshing element like apples. Riondo Blue weighs in at 4 bars of pressure making it Spumante more sparkling than the softer Frizzante style which can leave the palate wanting more zip –and at 13 grams per liter residual sugar this is just venturing into the Extra-Dry category –a touch sweeter than Brut and a must in the realm of wines made from Glera (Prosecco’s grape variety) because it reads as more balanced and fruitier without reading as sweet –just perfectly balanced. 11% alcohol
