Gabbiola Chianti San Michele a Torri 2010

San Michele a Torri 2010 Tenuta la Gabbiola, Chianti Classico DOCG | 14% | Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino combine in that classic Chianti Classico admixture of black tea, bitter cherry, rose oil and sandalwood –an afternoon among well fit clothing and that day one first encounters first grade full-grain leather and admire how supple, smooth, and expensively fragrant it is but not without a woodsy side –of alpen forests and the scent we find in midsummer kicking up the dry and decomposing needle duff beneath a dense canopy of a pine wood. This is a rough sophisticate, a gentleman farmer whose gone more agrarian, a beauty who is just as happy outdoors as at the table –and to the table born: this has acidity to structure great pairings but with 12 months in large oak casks it is tempered gently to come in a bit more gently though humming.

Food Pairings

This wine goes well with important and rich first courses, from pasta with meat sauces to baked lasagna, but it is at its best served with all meat second courses , from grilled meat (the typical Florentine T-boned steak) to roasts. The tannin in the
