Shafer Vineyards is pleased to announce the release of 2010 One Point Five Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon, a wine that celebrates the winery's roots in this special area of Napa Valley.

“Enticing aromas of crushed red and black berries fill the glass along with more delicate layers of sage, vanilla, cedar, and tobacco leaf. In the mouth the herbs and fruit are nicely integrated within a structure of ripe Stags Leap District tannins. The finish is lingering and pleasurable, inviting another taste,” says Shafer Winemaker Elias Fernandez.

Food Pairings

Meat, meat, meat but especially lamb and beef. Game birds, duck, goose, squab. Anything with lots of rosemary.
