Tablas Creek Patelin de Tablas Rouge 2017

Tablas Creek 2012 Patelin de Tablas, Paso Robles | 13.8% | 53% Syrah, 27% Grenache, 18% Mourvèdre, 2% Counoise | Brambly blackberry, floral notes, a sweet wisp of curing tobacco, baking spices –even cinnamon. On the palate there is an incredible red plum life to this with great depth and complexity. The Mourvèdre comes from Tablas Creek’s estate vineyards but the Syrah joins it from a number of partnering, sustainable or organic vineyards. Patelin means neighborhood in French slang –made from fruit bought from growers who sourced their vine cuttings from the Tablas Creek nursery.
