Tenuta Sant'Antonio Valpolicella Nanfre 2010

Tenuta Sant'Antonio 2010 Nanfre Valpolicella
It's 12.5% alcohol is what first catches my eye as a sensible gravity among so many out of balance 15% + wines that seem so common nowadays. As one who hopes to enjoy wine with his meal -as an integral part of my meals, 12.5% cannot be praised enough because it is never hot on the palate, never prickling to the nose, never sharp and rough. This Valpolicella however has loads more than just that going for it; scented rose petals, cherries, alpen herbs, ... all around the table were murmering how this tastes "really really good" Floral rose petals cherries perfumed bright nice tart cherry acids, velvety texture and aromatic all the way through the end...
