Nine Stones Barossa Shiraz 2017
Originally planted 100 years ago, other plots were planted 40-60 years ago –all bush vines for low yields and serious concentration that warrants the American and French oak program. It is generous with a great fruit on the front palate and immediate tannins but subtly layered. Handpicked and hand sorted, the clusters are ripened to a balance perfectly poised with vibrant fruit and al dente tannins, a penetrating fragrance and a really well rounded finish. Really delicious single vineyard Shiraz that calls for second and third or even more glasses.
