Welcome to a punchy glass of grassy, gooseberries, raspy fragrant yellow grapefruit and a faint flint and steel that marries a mineral note to the rest of this and while it crashes onto the palate like cool surf, it is actually not as bracing as you might have braced for –softened a touch by ruby grapefruit flavors and that summer scent of freshly cut grass. A delightful taste of Marlborough to be sure!
