Cono Sur Bicycle Pinot Noir 2011

Fragrant from the start, this Organic Pinot Noir from a winery whose mission statement is to make great wine beginning with their soils –wasting nothing between winemaking and grape growing they make nitrogen teas from spent lees and musts to apply in the vineyards and who even tie up their vines with pruned leaves and stems rather than the plastic alternatives one typically sees. This is the best Pinot Noir I’ve yet tried from Cono Sur. With a great fragrance, texture, and an engaging personality of flavors.
