Dom Pierre Grand Cuvee

Celebrate Grand Cuvée Sparkling, California | An invigorating blend of 15% Chardonnay and 85% French Colombard grown in the rich and fertile alluvial loam of the San Joaquin Valley, this sparkling wine is a bracing glass of refreshing sparkling wine from California grown fruit. With a light golden color with aromas of green apple, nectarine with biscuit and an effervescence which has pronounced ribbons of bubbles. On the palate it is noticeable refreshingly fruity flavor with a wisp of a yeasty nuance followed with a lingering, delightful finish. With the lion’s share of this blend being French Colombard, an off spring of Chenin Blanc, this is produced in the Méthod Charmat technique, in which a cold secondary fermentation occurs in stainless tanks and then is bottled under pressure and known for its ability to retain its natural acidity and give balance to cuvées.
