Wirra Wirra 2013 Scrubby Rise White, Adelaide | Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu, McLaren Vale | 55% Sauvignon Blanc 38% Semillon 7% Viognier | Clear and clean –like a nice Entre-Deux-Mers from an ideal vintage with plenty of zip, zig and zag –gooseberries in motion with a grassy floral top note, plenty of riper fruit in the middle and a mineral snap to the finish. Those at Wirra Wirra may have nailed it suggesting this pairs with seared tuna filet with soy ginger and lime.
