Yalumba Viognier - Eden Valley 2009

Oh my!!! Ripe apples, sandalwood, honey (light), peaches and nectarines, and floral aspects in the nose. Yum! The taste profile is fabulous, with many layers of complexity coming through and rolling throughout. Medium to full bodied, beautiful apricot with spice. The wine is absolutely pure Viognier. Textbook. The pure definition. And boy this is good.

Apricot & orange blossom on the nose. It is perfumed and luscious displaying flavors of honeysuckle and ripe stone fruits with beautiful minerality on the finish.
