Yalumba Y Series Shiraz Viognier 2009

A beautiful combination of two terrific varieties: the Shiraz with its deeply ripened fruit, the Viognier the lofty floral top notes. Together they temper one another and take on new depth –one of varied fruit in the way of all berries and of the scents of rose gardens in bloom. A nice juicy palate, a pleasant balance and a lasting sweet finish all make for a terrific wine as reminiscent of the Northern Rhone as it is South Australia.
