Yalumba The Y Series 2012 Shiraz Viognier, South Australia | 14.5% | 96% Shiraz and 4% Viognier | Viognier not only lifts Shiraz from its occasional brooding sulk but sets the color and brings out a brighter charm of tight fruits of the forest and a polished blueberry character. It has nice and chewy tannins, a fresh stature and a fresh peppery attack and a fragrant Turkish Delight on the finish in that fragrant flavorsome note that lingers with all this fruit.
