San Michele a Torri | Fattoria

A small organically certified consorzio of growers that is situated west of Florence in a small valley known as the Val di Pesa. The Azienda has been here since 1400, but was reconstructed in 1822. The estate consists of 408 acres with 120 under vines. The property straddles the zones of Colli Fiorentini and Chianti Classico with 134 and 9 acres in each zone respectively.

The vineyards are treated only with natural plant and animal treatments. No chemicals for fertilization or insecticides are employed. The Azienda is certified by the Controllo Biologico.
