Arnoux | Domaine

The Arnoux family has owned and tended vineyards in Burgundy for four generations. At the beginning, the Domaine Arnoux Père & Fils was set up in the village of Chorey-lès-Beaune where they carry on to this day their family's Burgundian wine traditions. Created by René and then expanded by his children Michel and Rémi the Domaine were soon bottling estate wines. In 1990, Pascal joined his uncles and produced his first vintage in 2007. Since that year he has been the head of the winery, supported by his wife Caroline. Pascal combines “savoir-faire” and new technologies to protect the vineyard and offer wines of great quality.

Today, the Domaine covers more than 50 acres, divided between the villages of Chorey-lès-Beaune, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton, Beaune and Pernand Vergelesses. These climats benefit rich and suitable soils which produced different excellent wine appellations: regionals, villages, Premiers Cru and Grand Cru. All wines are harvested, made and bottled into the winery.

All their vines are grown sustainably according to the families principles of land stewardship and the most sensitive viticultural practices. It goes without saying that these grapes are tended and harvested by hand at every turn. Pascal Arnoux makes tremendous wines of lesser known appellations that allow him to offer immense value -not least from his Crémant de Bourgogne which as a Blanc de Blancs of 100% Chardonnay offers a fragrant and textured complexity which exceeds the simple aperitif sparklings so typical of the region.

Many restaurants in Paris, Lyon and Beaune, have recognized the quality and are serving his wines by the glass.
