BACKGROUND
Skilfully managed by Arnaud de Butler, Château de Trébiac lies on a gravel plateau at Portets, 35 km south of Bordeaux. Over the past five years, both the estate's vines and winery have been completely rehabilitated.

Deep Garonne gravel.

WINEMAKING/MATURING
Integrated farming practices are used in the vineyard, with ploughing to maintain the soil, Médoc pruning method, shoot-thinning and suckering, manual leaf-culling at fruit set. 

For reds the harvest is destemmed, fermentation occurs in stainless steel or cement vats at 28°C-30°C, maceration 18 days. The wine is then aged for 3 months in French oak barrels and for 9 months in stainless steel vats. Fined using egg white.
