Sales Manager
The Sales Manager leads a team of sales consultants to drive revenue growth, achieve company and supplier goals, and strengthen key account relationships. This role is responsible for training, motivating, and directing a sales team; implementing strategic sales plans; and monitoring performance to ensure consistent achievement of objectives across both on and off premise channels, covering the State of Minnesota.
This position reports to the Sales Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop sales consultants to meet and exceed targets.
Execute sales plans, programs, and initiatives in line with company strategies.
Analyze sales performance by utilizing analytics tools to measure results.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and supplier partners.
Support onboarding and ongoing training for new consultants.
Oversee market activities to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive intelligence.
Manage administrative functions including reporting, expense control, and compliance.
Qualifications:
Deep understanding of wine, spirits, and the adult beverage industry.
Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in the beverage, food, or related industry.
Strong coaching, communication, and analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
Ability to build lasting relationships and lead high-performing teams.
Proven experience managing supplier expectations and executing joint business plans.
Proficiency with sales analytics tools.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned market.
The expected pay range for this role is $90,000 - $101,000. Actual placement within the range will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, and expertise.
