Brundlmayer Zweigelt Rose 2020

Zweigelt is the most planted red wine grape in Austria. It also makes a great rose. You can find some Zweigelt that has been put in oak but probably not in our selection. It is most engaging as a soft red with a fruitiness that displays some spice and rhubarb. This is a fun wine to drink; a bringer of joy. As a hot weather red it is unsurpassed as there are virtually no tannins so it can stand a bit of a chill.

Food Pairings

There are few red wines as perfect with lighter, casual foods. Chicken, pizza, pasta, burgers and most takeout.
