Carillon Puligny-Montrachet 2012

François Carillon 2011 Puligny-Montrachet, Côte de Beaune | 13% | Incredibly aromatic, textural and sapid with fragrant flavors that consume the senses, this is an expressive appellative Puligny-Montrachet if ever there was one. Golden apple, quince, and Mirabelle plums lend much to the core of fruit and a starchy jicama, and savory grilled sweet corn lend a fine, grounded balance to the gothic cut mineral structure and floral liqueur.

18/20 | 2011 PULIGNY-MONTRACHET VILLAGES
A grilled almond nose which is very Puligny. Sesame oil on the palate, along with some citrus, too. Mostly pineapple fruit with a silky texture and a touch of salt on the finish.
