Cline Small Berry Mourvedre 2019

Clean , bright and pretty, this Pinot Noir is woodsy, alpen undergrowth, and sassafras give way to crunchy red fruit. After fermenting and coming together in stainless steel this is finely woven over 15 months in large Slavonian oak casks. All its own this might resemble Mercurey if not for a higher tone and sap unto itself –altogether different from that I find in Burgundy and perhaps from the Slavonian oak. A really pretty and feminine Pinot Noir.
