Jolete Summit View Vyd Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

From Burgundy’s southerly sloped granite Fleurie vineyards, “the queen of the Crus,” this land glistens in a coruscating pink granite. The wine has beautiful garnet color, this opens and carries on with peony floral notes, lush red berries, and orange rinds. Some of the fruit going into this is crushed under foot to prevent green tannin notes. Aged for seven months in 30% 2-5 year old barrels, this is well integrated and stylish throughout -from start to finish.

Meat, meat, meat but especially lamb and beef. Game birds, duck, goose, squab. Anything with lots of rosemary.
