Mas de Gourgonnier 2013 Rosé, Les Beaux de Provence | 13% | Certified Organic by Ecocert | Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon | A lovely fair rosé with all those fragrant herbs we yearn to find on rosés from the this Mistral whipped land of garrigue –in this we find lavender, sage, rosemary. A chirping texture bears red currants and crunchy, nervy red fruit. While this is a rosé to refresh between bites of Provençal fare, grilled lamb or middle eastern dishes, it has plenty of texture, fruit and complexity to drink all afternoon out on the lawn playing one handed leisure games –this way a person can always hold a wine stem.
