Pinot Gris is nearly always cheery with a pleasant dry stature balanced by a supple acidity that carries agreeable fruits and fragrances. Seldom complicated, Pinot Gris is an affable variety that seems to get along with most anybody –certainly shellfish, mild sauces and canapés.
