Wine

Prieler Blaufrankisch Goldberg 2015

Typically medium-bodied, with a lively, food-friendly acidity; sometimes rustic, meaty tannins. The nose tends toward cherries and berries, with nuances of smoked meats, spice and black pepper. The flavours are similar and on occasion display an attractive gaminess. French oak adds to its mouthfeel and can round out the wine’s spiciness into a pipe tobacco and chocolate mélange.

Food Pairings

Think of the elegant end of Pinot Noir foods; salmon, veal as in Oscar or Blanquette de Veau. Chicken and game birds.
