[Degorgement September 2011 at 12.5% alcohol]
Pure quince, tangerine and fragrant brioche wash onto a refreshing palate of lemon rinds, chalky mineral, orchard fruit, and a floral liqueur that eddy about one another with a fine but persistent mousse that brings life to every corner of the palate. This is phenomenal champagne and everything that makes récoltant manipulant (grower producer) Blanc de Blancs its most charming. Nota bene: sealed in a Diamant cork which cannot be tainted by cork taint) this will always be as fresh and pure as the Chiquet intended.
