The Wine Company


After years of living here + there, working in bookstores + libraries, my work-life in wine began in 1993. In 2000, The Wine Company offered me the opportunity to return home to Minnesota and to work with this remarkable group of people.

I try to balance out my hectic workdays spent coordinating shipments from all around the world with more quiet activities: walking my dog, Saima, gardening, reading, cooking… however, if/when the music has the right groove, I’ll probably be the first one on the dance floor…

My desert island wines are Champagne, Riesling, Chenin Blanc, and Burgundy, but my glass is often full of dry Rosé, Grüner Veltliner, Dolcetto, or the occassional Pelforth Brune (as pictured – Riems, France).
