Francois Carillon Bourgogne Aligote 2015

Before Royal Kir cocktails took the world by storm there was simply the Kir made from eau de vie de cassis and none other than this completely underrated white Aligote. From Burgundy’s precious slopes, it is actually a pity to blend this for it is absolutely delicious. Citrus acidity and real verve set this apart from the Chardonnay and made from low yields it has considerable depth and a faint nuttiness.
