Fevre Chablis Valmur Gr Cru 2019

Creamy butterscotch, leesy honeysuckle and toasty oak wound up in a sinuous green apple acidity, this offers more flavor and breadth of character than its neighbors at this price point. Fragrant through the finish, this wine is the happy result of a celestial house making an affordable Chardonnay with all their talents oozing into all they do even when they might not be straining themselves. Still harmonious, delicious and well balanced in August of 2010! I write this only because I want to reiterate the pleasures of this wine and express how it has preserved its fresh verve really well a year after my first note.
