Botani | Bodegas

Bodegas Botani is a phenom in that the aromatic Muscat Alexandria in the Sierras de Malaga are seldom if ever dry but vinified such are a chef's dream for food pairing. The surprising originality of Botani is the fruit from a rigorous process of grape selection and the great care taken in the winemaking process. The grapes used in this wine come from the vines from Almachar that grow on the north-facing mountainous slopes. After manual harvesting, at the end of June or the beginning of August, the grapes are brought to the selection table before pressing. Since they are extremely sensitive to climate changes, we were not able to make this wine in 2005.

100% Muscat Alexandria, the Botani wines are fresh, fragrant, brimming with the aroma of Muscat in terms of fresh grapes, apples, mandarin oranges with a pinch of dried flowers. On the palate it is fruity and dry, with notes of citrus and a gentle finish.
