Lageder Lagrein Rose 2012

Lovely deep color belies the crunchy red fruit found on the palate. Aromas range from those alpen herbs that almost read as balsam or rosemary for their piney expressions. On the palate this dry rosé is somewhat savory, with a hint of white smoke on the finish that beckons for charcuterie of all kinds; although this is just as tasty on its own, Lagrein is well known as the rose for red wine lovers.
