Planted to the southerly slopes of of basaltic lava at Monteforte d'Alpone and Soave, these hillside vines were planted 30 plus years ago and now express iris floral notes, the golden yellow apple fruit and sweet almond finish one hopes to find on their Saove and yet seldom finds at this inviting price point.
