Barraud Macon Chaintre 2011

This milkmaid of Mâcon is quite a coquettish beauty and buxom in a warm vintage with that sappy Chardonnay fragrance that translates into texture on the mouth. Big orchard fruit with a crisp edge is a unique charm of Burgundy in such balmy agreeable vintage. There are floral elements to the finish too that reveal its limey slopes of southern Burgundy.
