Bodega Lurton Pinot Gris 2008
Whether from Alsace where it is svelte and attractive, Italy known for its immediate appeal, or even yet another suitable climate, Pinot Gris is much like that congenial acquaintance you always enjoy visiting with and then wonder why you’re not closer friends. Pinot Gris is nearly always cheery with a pleasant dry stature balanced by a supple acidity that carries agreeable fruits and fragrances. Seldom complicated, Pinot Gris is an affable variety that seems to get along with most anybody –certainly shellfish, mild sauces and canapés.
