Borsao Tres Picos 2010
Big, ripe fruit welcomes you as only low yields of Garnacha can express -like a compote of spiced plums and cherries. Less than two tons per acre are harvested from the warm slopes of Moncayo and the results are rich and forthcoming; the palate is awash in the spiced plums on the nose and bring on blackberries, mulling spices, a sweet leathery top note and vivacious acidity. Privileged by climate and the balmy climate, Tres Picos is a consistent wonder to me -ready for many a meal but just the drop to enjoy on its own when all your mood wants is a great glass of wine. 14.5%

Expert Review
90 points - This rich red is brimming with raspberry jam, chocolate, licorice and wild herb flavors. Firm tannins are well integrated
and buoyed by orange peel acidity. A lively modern style. Drink now through 2015. 5,000 cases imported.—T.M.
