Chardonnay is one of the great grapes of the world. If one must characterize this motley crew, the aromas are apple, melon, butter and flavours of honey dew, stones and citrus but words cannot convey the worlds of nuance and texture Chardonnay can reveal in capable hands or from gifted terroir.

The 2009 Viura-Chardonnay contains 15% Viognier. Light gold-colored, it offers up pleasant aromas of white fruits and spring flowers. Crisp and refreshing on the palate, it is meant for drinking over the next 12-18 months. 86 Points.
