Cauhape Jurancon Sec Chants des Vignes 2010

This aromatic, dry white has persistent perfumes and is quite beguiling on the palate. Oddly enough, the aromas remind me of white Burgundy. The texture of the wine on the tongue is both creamy and very mineral. It's all a rather unique sensory experience. This is a great foil for almost any dish—sushi or any rich fish, a creamy pasta dish or roast chicken. 60% Gros Manseng and 40% Camaralet.

Domaine Cauhape Jurancon Sec Chant des Vignes
60% Gros Manseng, 40% Camaralet harvested at the end of September. Situated in the southwest corner of France, the Jurancon region produces exceptional dry and sweet white wines. The introduction of Camaralet in the 2010 Chant des Vignes defines a new wine style. Combined with Gros Manseng it creates a vibrant, refined wine that is pure pleasure for the senses. Distinguished as an aperitif and a remarkable companion to shell fish, seafood and grilled fish.
