Cline Viognier 2017
North Coast Viognier is a real treat for its balance and fragrance. Viognier is a tricky grape to grow in that it buds out early and is susceptible to frost. Also, it's thick skins require patience to get the full flavor potential of the grape -both of which are solved by the North Coast's climate.
The vines basked in the sun during the day and were cooled at night which contributes to this Viognier's full-body weight and nice acidity. A rich, perfumed varietal, this wine has pineapple, peach, and apricot flavors, with accents of floral and citrus notes.
