An unsung hero among the noble regions of noble varieties, Saint-Veran is a powerful Chardonnay with great structure, breadth of flavor, mineral nuance and lasting power. Neighboring the Maconnais appellation of Pouilly-Fuisse, Saint-Veran grows in the same vein of chalk and clay that mark all the great chardonnays.
