Chateau Myrat Sauternes 2007

Concentrated nose, complex and botrytised with elegant and concentrated notes of apricot, very candied fruits and mineral taste at the end. Fresh attack, round and full-bodied wine with exotic fruits flavours. Beautiful liquor, splendid structure with a great acidity and an exuberant finish on ripe fruits, mineral and toasted notes. The 2007 vintage is an aromatic and elegant wine with a very nice length!

Expert Review

WINE SPECTATOR 96 points
"Darker in color than most 2007 Sauternes, showing intense aromas of dried apricot, with toffee notes and an almost smocky character. This is full-bodied and very sweet, with a full-blown dried fruit and raisin flavor. Long and superbly rich. Best after 2014. Highly recommended." James Suckling

THE WINE ADVOCATE 94 points
"Tasted single blind against its peers. I was so glad to re-taste the excellent Chateau de Myrat 2007 in bottle. It has a deeper color than its peers and the nose has a profound depth, offering pure scents of white peach and quince. The palate is rich on the entry and displays an engaging nuttiness from start to finish with dried honey, almond, and a touch of ginger lingering in the mouth. Long and persistent, this Chateau de Myrat is well worth seeking out." Neal Martin
