Javillier Aloxe Corton 2010
At the bottom of the Hill of Corton, the terroir of Aloxe-Corton forms the guard of honour of the prestigious grands crus. Aloxe-Corton expresses power and volume. The robe of this wine is fairly dark, intense ruby. This wine exhibits aromas of red and black berry fruits (strawberries, raspberries, cherries and blackberries, blackcurrants) with oak and spice notes. It is racy and fruity; it opens after many years displaying a firm and structured body and tannins. It is a rich, silky and full-bodied wine.
