TASTING NOTE
In the warmer and drier Celorico de Basto, late ripening Azal reaches greater concentration and balance than any of the other nine sub-regions of Vinho Verde. Between the drier conditions and Quinta da Raza’s glittering schist and mica atop the region’s granite bedrock, this expresses all its telltale aromas and flavors ranging from orchard fruits, chiefly green apple, and a spectrum of citrus ranging from lemon to lime.
