Tenuta Sant'Antonio Amarone Selezione Castagnedi 2007

A fabulous expression of clean modern Amarone, the opposite of raisins! Pretty, cherry nose with a touch of dusty cocoa. Clean Juicy finish, with sweet red berries and a touch of anise. Very elegant and refined. Great food wine. 15%

Expert Review

89 Points - Wine Advocate, Feb. 2010, #199
"The 2007 Amarone della Valpolicella Selezione Antonio Castagnedi emerges from the glass with juicy dark cherries, mocha, chocolate, spices and new leather. This is a restrained style of Amarone with moderate structure and body, but excellent overall balance. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2017."

Food Pairings
