Vietti Tre Vigne Barbera d'Asti 2010

Vietti 2010 Tre Vigne Barbera d’Asti
Rich warm scents of a red fruit compote, cinnamon and raw vanilla carry over onto the palate and fill the mouth with fine knit tannins and juicy acids. Quite rich for a Barbera from Asti –perhaps because after malo, this Barbera goes into French and Slavonian oak for 14 months and bottled unfiltered to preserve all this wines complexity. Superlative Asti Barbera.
Wine review by Nicholas Livingston

“Ruby purple color with ripe red cherry aromas with hints of mineral and vanilla. A dry, medium bodied red wine with refreshing acidity (making it perfect to pair with food) and soft tannins, the Barbera d'Asti Tre Vigne is well balanced with good integration of oak, good complexity and a finish of more red cherries.”
