Vols Wiltinger Kupp Riesling Kabinett 2021

Orange zest, clean and fresh on the nose, this is from Italy’s Pavia but could very well run in league with any of the Moscato we love from Asti of Piedmont. Bright and fragrant with a honeycomb scented sweetness, a floral blossom, a fine textured and gently creamy mousse from the delicate bubbles and a finish as fresh and balanced as they come. One could easily sip this through brunch, enjoy it all along a picnic luncheon, and then neck it into the night –because it is refreshing and crisp, the sweetness that charms the palate stays fresh as fresh fruit. 6.5% ABV.

Pork, ham, scallops. Salmon or tuna most anyway even tartare. Asian food. An excellent wine with food.
