Yalumba Y Series Shiraz Viognier 2010

From the oldest family owned winery in all of Australia, this combines the best of the dark and savory Shiraz with the fragrant white Viognier. All it takes is a splash of the floral Viognier to throw into relief the black pepper and thick skinned berries of Shiraz –and I dare say may make each better as a combination than a solo pilot. If ever there were two better co-pilots it might I cannot think of those better suited for one another like this traditional pair from the Northern Rhône –lip smacking delicious.
